Robert Frost, celebrated American poet came to writing greatness by his powerful portrayal of New England life and nature. His craft was innovative and allowed him to touch all kinds of people, conveying the essence and beauty of everyday situations. He won 4 Pulitzers, was Vermont’s Poet Laureate from 1961-1963, and served as the U.S. Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress from 1958 to 1959. He is still championed today for his depth and universal themes relating him to the reader today.
